hello
i've owned my scout now for almost a year using cw and hand key only. this weekend, i picked up a good used paddle, and was going
to use it with my scout. I was surprised when my keying got all screwed up. I checked the manual and the internal keyer is "curtis
type b". i quess i have used "type a" on my other rigs. i have been practicing in a dummy load and cant get used to type b keying.
is there a way to convert the internal keyer to type "A" keying?
why was type "B" keying the keying of choice for ten tec? is type "B" keying more efficient and faster?
Also, i've been thinking of purchasing a used omni 6 plus, what mode does its internal keyer use?

thanks
