[TenTec] pegasus warbling audio

 Pegasus owners,
have any of you noticed a warbling cw tone when tuning a station to a
low frequency pitch, say around a couple hundred cycles? In other words,
the recovered audio tone will sound like 60HZ ripple on the signal.... I
had tested one of the RX 320 PC radios and noticed this condition big
time! My little SONY which cost less then $99, sounds ten times
better... Was wondering if this is the nature of the beast with the
Pegasus since they are basically the same RX???
