Another method: If you use other than a TT power supply and have
to turn the Corsair II on at the PS, rewire the power switch on
the CII to switch the relay coil. Disconnect the wires to the
switch and leave in place for future reconnect. Clip one of the
relay wires, it can be any  wire either the B+ to the relay or
clip one end of R13 the 22K resistor. Connect two wires to the
clipped connection and connect to the power switch. You know
what? The switch is still correctly labeled. You want more power,
turn the switch on to connect the linear if you use one.
BTW is you think the relay in the CII is noisy you should hear
the one in the Kenwood TS-830S, at least 20X louder and it can't
be disconnected.
