[TenTec] Corsair II internal keyer

Hello

My beloved Corsair II has suddenly developed a fault today - it won't
send dashes with the internal keyer.  Well, it does for a few seconds
after the rig is first switched on, but then the keyer will only do
dots.

The dash contact of the paddle grounds the dash pin (pin 19) of the
MC68705P3 okay, but the chip refuses to produce the dashes!

I have emailed Ten Tec, in the hope they are able to help, but I wonder
if anybody else has experienced anything similar (and have any
suggestions)?
