[TenTec] Alpha Amps

Not specifically list related, but of interest to all...

On Sept. 7, 2000, W4ETO and W0UN announced that the current run of Alpha 87A
and Alpha 99 amps will be the last.  After this, Alpha Power will cease
engineering and manufacturing operations.  Warranty and post-warranty work
will still be available, but no new amps will be produced.

I have no relation to Alpha...always liked to own one, but never had enough
duckets.  Just some FYI for those who want a last chance at a brand new one.
