Jerry:

I don't agree.  The front panel has a hole punched in it for the
speaker.  This hole forms a current loop, in which current is induced
from the power transformer stray field.  In essence this is a shorted
turn, electrically, in the field of the power transformer.  It creates a
quite high magnet flux outside of the cabinet.
