Carl, I agree. I have another radio here in the shack where the receive
audio sounds fuller with the HP going down to 0. Really sounds kind of HiFi
when listening to stations with wider transmit bandwidths; However while in
another room my wife switched a number of times between the Jupiter and the
rig with the fuller sounding audio and the Jupiter audio was clearer and
each word more understandable but then we typically don't operate a room
away. TenTec's choice was probably the best.
