One thing I did find in the Menu (MNU) is a line called HIGH BOOST. This was
set to 100%. It effects only receive audio. It appears to be a tone control
of sorts. I changed it to 0% and now the receive audio sounds better to me,
not high pitched. The manual indicates it increases the relative level of
higher frequencies in the receiver audio as an aid to operators whose
hearing has some loss in those frequencies. I would have thought it would
have come set at 0. I guess I don't have hearing loss at those frequencies.
I had not changed it, wonder why it defaulted to their setting for someone
with hearing loss in the higher frequencies.

Since changing this menu setting to zero I am comfortable with the receive
audio. To me this has made a big difference.
