The selectable filters are the current 6.3 MHz TenTec filters. The fixed
first filter was originally a special 4 pole 9 MHz filter, which
commonly has been replaced by an 8 pole 9 MHz SSB filter. All filters
are common through the Omni VI+. And good filters. Filters to fit are
also available from Inrad with a lower number shape factor, meaning
steeper skirts and squarer corners to the pass band which I suspect may
make them ring more than TenTec filters on lightning static, ignition
noise, and power line noise.
