Stay with apples-apples. Paragon/II's are synthesized rigs.
Omni V, VI and VI Plus are ham band designs only.

It will be 2004 at the earliest amateurs would be authorized access to 5
MHz.

I'll be glad to see a new band. THEN I'll worry about my Omni VI Plus
etc.
