Thanks for the info on your logging program.   The LOGic4 is windows too, and 
like you, I am pleased with my program. 

Yes, I paid for LOGic2, and -3, -4,and -5 as I upgraded over the past 11 
years.  All upgrades from LOGic2 on were half price, very economical for so 
much.  

The OMNI-V never was designed for rig/PC logging.  The rear connector was  
for the Ten-Tec remote tuning knob unit.   Know of several hams here who 
found that out to their sorrow,  but I see you have overcome the logging 
problem thanks to Carl's help.  Good for you.
