Hi Everyone,

I have recently installed this new INRAD mod in my Omni VI upgrade version
#3 vintage 11/96.

It's very easy to do and results in vastly improved fidelity in the receipt
of SSB audio. Corrects both the high and low frequency rolloff experience on
SSB receive that cuts fidelity in the audio a bit.

Can be done on either older models with through-the- board components or
with surface mount components found on the newer models. INRAD supplies both
versions.

Changes are done on the IF/AF board on the underside of the rig.

In the unlikely event that you do not like the results it is easily
reversed.

I highly recommend it.

Take the plunge and replace stock SSB filters with INRAD 2.8's and you will
have a remarkable sounding SSB receiver. Then put your receive audio
through a 10 inch wall speaker. WOW!

A pleasure to the ears. Old time radio.

Regards,

Dave-N1LQ
