[TenTec] INRAD mod for OMNI VI

For those who have done it, what is the cost in terms of selectivity? 
For $15 it can't include any new filters, so are the original 2.4 kHz
filters somehow disabled?  And if so, this has to pay a price in
selectivity performance.  Any comments on this?
