I have had no trouble with any LOGic logging program re
automatically recording the frequency, mode, etc,  from my
Paragon or OMNI 6+ rigs. 

Guess you have a Paragon.  Curious to know if you have 
the original copy of the control program  "Paragon Model 
258 - IBM Vers 1.1" that came with mine.  It is not needed 
with any LOGic program,  but if you want it,  I can send it 
to you "zipped".  It is the original computer remote control 
and logging program for the Paragon.
