I built the SPC tuner years ago and still use it.  It works well over
a large range.  It is a bandpass type transmatch and does well in
knocking broadcast interference from KFAN in my cheapo direct
conversion QRP rigs and also helps with image rejection in rigs like
555 Scout.

Mine is made with lower rated components so I use it 100W and
less.
