[TenTec] Thoughts for the 516 DSP de N2KPC

Hello Everybody,
   Hope that all is well with everybody.
My Wife Gaye, KB2YOA and myself Lloyd, N2KPC, God willing will be at the  
next Hamfest too.
   We enjoyed the first one very much. It was worth the drive from New  
Jersey to see all the fine people.
I use two Scouts in our minvans and I use the a Scout with a 1254  
General receiver in my 4 wheel Bronco II when I am Surf Fishing here in  
NJ.
   Pencil ?????
1... Make the 516 run at 12.0 volts for mobile and solar use.

2... Be able to use the 302J encoder/keypad for mobile and handicap use, plus marine use too.

3... Mars cap use. " I'am AAR2BP "

4... SSTV and PSK31 use... a big selling point with a lot of hams now.

5... Moblie bracket.

6... Sound card interface jack.

7... Grounding wing nut like on the 555 Scout.

8... Cover the "fins like on the Scout".

9... Both CW key jacks like the Scout with the keyer built in.

10... Give everybody a raise at Ten Tec.

11... Open a Motel for the Hamfest.

12... Ask Ray for his CW opinion.

13... Have a 516 at the Hamfest in Sept. if you can. 

14... Name it the Chieftain.....or Chief......or Orion.  Orion goes with Jupiter.
