[TenTec] RE: Triton IV Mic Problem

Hi Ed, W4WVW,

I sent my Triton IV, Model 544, and 262M Power Supply back to Ten-Tec for
refurbishing of the Main Tuning PTO and re-alignment, etc., and mentioned
the same problem that you have, to them.  This was about two years ago, I
believe.  They went through the whole rig, and put it back to "Like New"
condition and sent me a letter saying the VOX circuit never did work right
in the 262M Power Supply, and no fix was available.  They said to just plug
the mike into the back of the rig and forget about the VOX. (Problems with
RF getting into the VOX circuitry)
