Dear friends,
first let me thank you for your replies, and sorry that
I have not answer yet, I changed the provider.
Sadly my Centurion now left me alone totally....
I could not manage the problem with the current flowing
during standby, but outherwise the PA worked well,
until now...
The new problem is, that the red transmit led ALWAYS is
on and I can not hear the PTT any more, sometimes it
transmits, somtime I have to key again and again until it
works (so I did work the 3D2CI by hard).
As I do not want to destroy more than necessary, I took
the manual, which shows:
If the transmit-led is on all the time, the QSK-circuit is defect....
Nice tip, I removed it - but I can not see an obviously
defect.
As there is no dealer nearby and I am not the chief
electrician I ask you, if somebody had the same problem
and can help me - which part is destroyed (unvisibly) on
the QSK-board (or somewhere elese?).
Wish to have a PA-specialist nearby,hi - a new PA is
to expensive, despite the EURO-rate,hi.
