The Centurion is significantly quieter than the Centaur. There is still
some noise from the relay clicking, but it is quieter. (My new Alpha 99
has a louder relay in QSK than the Centurion). The Centurion also tunes
more smoothly. Mine had a bit of an occasional "buzz" caused by the HV
deadman interlock switch level rattling against the cabinet top - easily
cured with a small piece of electricians tape on the top. You will
really like the Centurion compared to the Centaur - I sure did! You will
want to use 220V.
