[TenTec] Jupiter /Heil Question

I use both the Goldline and the Heil headset with the HC-5. I had to go into
the Pegasus (same board as the Jupiter) and crank up the mike gain so the
relative setting is meaningless but there is more than sufficient gain to
use the mikes. I use about 30% compression and in order to get the VOX to
work have to get the red ALC light to blink fairly frequently. Don't worry
about the settings. Get some on the air reports and if it sounds good and
you do not have any splatter then all is OK.
