Thanks for the info on the digital displays and you anticipated
My next question with the mod's for this little buzzard.  This 525
is My first HF rig so I am rather fond of it despite it's numerous
rough edges. I still remember the thrill of working Pitcairn Island,
and the rush of working an Australian station SSB phone with 2.5 watts
on this rig.

It's interesting explaining to fellow Hams who don't know this rig
how great it's feature of turning off the finals and working from
the drivers is.
