[TenTec] Omni V Freq. Display and Noise Blanker

Hi,

I'm a new Omni V owner. The radio has been great, but I have two concerns.

First, although I can tune WWV with exactly a 10.000.00 indication on the freq. display, I notice that I have to tune about 250 Hz higher on 160 to successfully tune SSB signals. I've asked a couple guys to check their freqs and they do not agree with mine. Any thoughts?

Second, when operating on the lower bands (ie. 160) and using the noise blanker, I notice that a strong CW signal will cause signal clicks across most of the low end of the band. When I turn the noise blanker off, the problem goes away. I can forsee difficulty in contests and have already had trouble during a pileup hearing the DX station because of this. Has anyone else noticed this problem?
