  For what its worth !  I researched reviews of various screwdrivers and 
decided to get the "tar heels " screwdriver version.  I got the antenna 
,installed it and have been happy ever since.  I use it on the way home from 
work late at night around 0300hrs. and I check into a 75 mtr. net. the guys 
on the net have not had a problem hearing me , and they sound good , 
conditions providing.  I highly recommend the Tarheel screw driver antenna
