Richard;

You have missed a recent thread regarding the scarcity of the Russian
made Svetlana 4CX-1600B which is in the QRO HF3-KDX(?) and the Titan II.
And, the Svetlana offices in the USA closed their doors with no apparent
warning. Based on these facts, and eventually these Svetlana's will
require replacement, I suggest you consider a Henry 3KD Premier amp with
the EIMAC 8877 tube. $2650 at www.radiodan.com
or the Ameritron AL-1500 with the 8877, or one of your listed models, the
Commander 2500 with EIMAC
3CX-800's, for full legal limit.

I have owned Ten-Tec Hercules II, Centurion, and original Titan's, the
best amp they ever made IMHO.
I currently own other Ten-Tec transceivers, and mention this so readers
do not think I'm anti-Ten-Tec.
I have owned their gear since a Triton IV # 540 in the 1970's while in
the former Canal Zone.

IMO, the source of EIMAC tubes will be available longer than the Svetlana
tubes. Yes they are expensive, but at least they are available.

Good luck in your choice.

73,
Jim, K4SQR
