Hi George.

It's just the impression I get.
The FT-102 also has an adjustable width noise blanker, which seems to be
very effective on the QRM I described.

The TT's adjustable noise blanker doesn't deal with the described QRM as
effectively, and like yourself I've found that if you crank the width up too
far, the RX is muted.

I'll do some more comparisons.
