[TenTec] OMNI V.9 serial port

Hi-
 Never had the serial port working on the OMNI V.
 Now trying to get the serial port in the now OMNI V.9 to work with
Logger or XM Log.
 Is the cable pin out:
DB-25	DB-9
  3	  2
  2	  3
  7	  5
	  1,4,6 shorted

Using IC-761, IE 
Com 1, 4800  8,N,1

Any hints?
