[TenTec] NIR 12 question

well, not exactly ten tec, but I know a few of you guys out there use 
older Ten Tec rigs with the NIR 12 DSP in the audio line.  I have just 
landed one of these and want to play with it.  Were there firmware 
updates?  I know JPS does not support this unit any longer, I'm just 
curious about the last updates and whether they were important.  Thanks.
