Well, so far, it's 5 to 1 in favor of the blanker. Therefore, I'll put forth the question: does anyone have a noise blanker board that he/she would like to part with? I'm sure they're few and far between, so another plan would be to adapt the blanker that goes into the Scout. I've heard that one perform quite well first hand. Al, K2ZN
