IMHO, it is much more important that the first Orions, when shipped, meet their specs and have no notable QC problems, rather than meet an arbitrary "ship by" date. Since the Orion is pricey, skeptics will seize on any perceived flaws to talk down the radio. The actual date the first shipments are made will not be long remembered, but any QC problems will be.
