I can only comment on the RS-232C board.  They are rare according to a call I made a long time ago to TT headquarters.
It doesn't do a whole lot for you either because there is no hardware flow control and the speed is 1200 baud!  About
all it will do for you is provide a means to backup your memories on the 585 and some real minor things like that.  I
experimented with mine, but with today's OS's running a DOS program at the right clock speed is very cumbersome (to sync
with the port).
