[TenTec] Corsair II filters

I have what may be considered the dumb question of the month. Has anybody
ever tried a narrow filter in the 9mhz position on a Corsair II? Such as the
Inrad 400hz or a TT 500hz. I realize this would make it useless for SSB but
would it make it a much better CW rig? Maybe it would not work at all? Any
comments/ideas on or off the reflector would be appreciated.
