Steve,

That is great! I have thought about doing the same with a red LED but
can't
figure a way to do it with out drilling a hole in the front panel.
(Gasp!)

I just finished assembly of a 1254 SWL receiver for my son and it has
a BLACK dot! Previous kits that I have purchased from T-T had the
traditional red or orange dot. 

I wonder if Scott has another major announcement to make to the list?
