[TenTec] Turns Counter for 238?

Last weekend at club swap meet, I saw an HBR 16 home made Receiver, (60's
vintage QST project).  The builder had taken a stock National dial, and
added a Jackson Bros. (England) 6:1 vernier drive at the center shaft behind
the knob.

I think you could submount such to the panel of the Ten Tec, behind the
present front panel if there is a couple of inches before the tuned
component.
