I am also sure that the engineers and designers at TenTec realize that to have top receiver performance in contesting conditions the Orion will have to have a full compliment of crystal lattice filters in two (or more???) IF's. That DSP stuff is fine a lot of the time, but when the going gets tough... Just MHO. 73 - John, W4AU
