I also agree that the all in one boxes come up short,
but for an additional reason. They don't do you a lot
of good if you need (Ok want)to monitor several
VHF/UHF bands simultaneously. Their economic advantage
falls apart if you need to watch several bands at
once.

What Ten Tec must absolutely include in the Orion are
easy connections to get low level TX signals for
transverter use. And also a sepparate RX connection(s)
for transverter duty as well.
