[TenTec] Pegasus

I am new to the list , and I was wondering if I should buy a new Pegasus
rather than try to buy one that is older, and used.  Most sellers want
almost as much used as buying a new one.  Is there any difference in the
electronics inside?  I know about how the firmware is updated.  I had not
heard about any problems with early models, but you never know.
