[TenTec] Omni D vs Delta

Working from memory...The Omni D came out around 1979-80. The 580 a few
years later. The Omni had a 9mhz IF chain while the Delta 580 had 6.3mhz. I
believe the change in frequency cleared up some problems with 17 meter band
mixer products.
The Omni had more audio filter positions but both rigs had AF derived agc.
The Delta was considerably smaller in size and a shade of elephant snot
green compared to the Omni's black with aluminum trim. Hope that helps.
