Don't despair Jim,

I ran into the same "problem". So for a quick fix [which I am still
using after six months BTW ] I got a short piece of #12 solid
copper house wire which just happens to fit perfectly into the power
receptacle of the 962 PS.

In each of the following cases, strip about 3/8 inch of insulation
from each end of the wires and file off the ends of the wire smooth
for easy insertion into the power jack of the PS. Cut one short piece
and bend it into a "U" shape and push it into the two middle
connectors of the 962 PS. That takes care of the AC power
switching. Cut another one, preferably black, an inch or so long and
solder the black [neg] wire of the Jupiter power cable to one end.
Insulate well. Cut another wire the same length as the previous,
preferably red or white, and solder it to the red wire of the Jup
power cable. Now....connect negative to negative and positive to
positive and DOUBLE CHECK polarity by measuring the voltage at the
Jupiter end of the power cable assy.

I too ordered an adapter from Ten Tec but have not yet replaced the
"adapter" just described. This will at least get you going and
enjoying your Jupiter.

Good luck Jim.
