I am hoping the Orion will be a full-blown DSP rig with all the
capabilities of the Jupiter, but with some more features and higher
performance
 like a "top end" rig should be. Of course, this assumes it is going to be
a "top end" rig.

Here are some features I would like to see:

1)  Full DSP similar to the Jupiter, but with the auto notch within the AGC
loop.

2)  A display like the Jupiter, but higher resolution and color.

3) Ability to adjust the upper and lower cut off  of the passband
independently.

4) An analog multifunction meter, i.e. 'S' meter, Vcc, Ic, Fwd power, SWR.

5) Ability to read RTTY and CW out on the built in display.

6) Direct keyboard connection on back panel for built in CW and RTTY use.

7) Dual frequency, in band, simultaneous receive. With weighting control
similar to the Corsair II with remote VFO.

8) Better styling. Not as "plain" as the Jupiter.

Anyone else have some more or better ideas?
