Another observation:  the Pegasus rcv audio is just
fine when listening to WW VH and WW V AM on either
10 or even 15 MHz.  Based upon that very bad
SSB audio distortion on both 14 and 18 MHz bands,  I
would have thought the 15 MHz WWV audio would be
bad.  But not so.

So it has to do with the circuitry which generates only
sideband and CW xmit and rcv audio signals.
