B&W broad banded folded dipoles are little more than a leaky dummy load.
Often as much as 20 dB down from a dipole. The secret matching box is
nothing but a power resistor. I'd rather use a tuner and a buried wire,
it's less visible and equally as effective. The B&W may have a place at
a radio location where radio skills are not normal (government
communications site) and where high transmitter power can be used to
make up for the antenna's lack of radiation.
