While we're on the subject of DSP books, Check out www.dspguide.com. There
is a downloadable book (640 pages in PDF format) about DSP. I'm about 1/3 of
the way through - reading it on my computer screen. It presents the material
very well. As much as possible, it attempts to present it without
complicated mathematics. In fact, the initial discussion avoids using
complex math. Supposedly it does discuss that later.
