To me, the 'base' hardware performance is first and of top priority.  I 
realize there are physical and economic limitations as to what can be 
done, but on the other hand, $3300 is a lot of money.
I look forward to the finished product, and the possibility that since 
it is a software radio, maybe 'version's could 'specialize' the radio - 
a DX version, a CW-op version, a 'rag-chewer' version... software 
optimized for  individual operating conditions?
