[TenTec] Adapting Jupiter to Aviation Headset Mic

Looking for information for adapting the typical aviation headsets (with "noise canceling" electret mic) to work on a Jupiter.  I have discovered this is not just the same as hooking up any old electret mic, which is pretty straight forward.  Any help or links to resources appreciated.
