[TenTec] The Scout was noisy

Mark,
Well...I hate to admit it but you are right. The Scout does have some
(phase?) noise but I don't think the Scout's  noise is any worse than it's
early 90's competition. I operate portable and mobile. If I had a fixed
station I'd prefer an Omni D or Corsair but the Scout's pretty ok.
