Hi,

Just caught about 3 seconds on NBC Sunday night news.
I thought they showed flood waters about 4'  deep flowing
somewhere in/near Sevierville!   What about the Ten Tec
facility, are they in a flood plain??  Oh my....

Found following on internet:

"This product includes the following rivers: Clinch River...French 
broad river... little Pigeon river...Pigeon river...Powell river...
Sequatchie river.   

...Heavy rains over many hours has made its way into river channels 
and is  causing serious flooding on several rivers... 

For the  Pigeon river at Sevierville, TN, Minor flooding is 
occurring,  with a Stage of 11.2 Feet measured at 1 PM Sunday.  
The Stage will fall below  flood Stage around 1 PM Sunday.  
At 11.0 Feet,  the river runs bankfull.  This  Crest compares to 
a previous Crest of 11.2 Feet on February 1 1985. This Crest  
forecast May be revised as more information becomes available 
or more rain Falls  into the Basin. 

For the Pigeon river at Newport, TN, Minor flooding is occurring, 
with a Stage of 8.5 Feet measured at 1 PM Sunday.  Major flooding 
is forecast, with a  maximum Stage of 12.0 Feet around 11 PM 
Sunday, which is 4.0 Feet above flood  Stage. This is a Major 
flood event.  This Crest compares to a previous Crest of  11.8 feet 
on March 11 1997. This Crest forecast will likely be revised as more  
data become available...Or more rain Falls into the Basin. "

This info is from several hours ago;  does the Pigeon river at
Newport flow toward/through Sevierville?
