But Carl, my point is really this....

The only way to compare receivers is to compare them under some 
sort of standardized tests, even if those tests are less than perfect. 

I won't debate or disagree about how you "feel" about the receiver, 
that will waste time and energy. It is the same as arguing politics 
or religion. 

All I can say is this. If the close-spaced IM DR or blocking is really 
significantly less than 70dB (as you stated), the receiver would 
certainly not work well for many other people!
