The latest firmware update to the Timewave DSP599zx external DSP box offers
something similar. Once you select a center frequency, higher tones move to
one side and lower tones to the other.  Unfortunately the center frequency
in only selectable as 500 and 750. It would have been nicer if the
selections were say every 50 Hz so I could select 600 or 700.

While the demo clearly demonstates the movement from right to left as the
tone pitch changes, I would like to hear a demo with multiple tones
simultaneously.  I think that would more accurately show how this feature
would help reception.
