Tnx to all fer their help with Scout muffled xmtr audio....three fixes later 
I'm getting mucho better audio reports using the Ten Tec 701 mic....

Careful to adjust transmit audio level just so ALC lights occasionally on 
voice peaks.....small improvement.

Remove stupid rubber wind screen in front of mic element then drill small 
hope in back of mic for pressure relief......BIG improvement!
