Rich, to adjust the receiver filters, use the "bandwidth" knob; it'll adjust
from 8 Khz wide to something like 300 Hz (well, so it says, they are rather
wide filters skirts); to adjust the transmitter on SSB, press the menu
button, adjust the tuning know to select "TX FILTER BW" and adjust the
"MULTI" knob to the bandwidth you want.  When you're adjusting that, make
sure you take the "TX ROLL OFF" adjustment (on the bottom of the menu) into
account.
